Alex Crowe

I am now actively looking to work with clients and agencies who have a positive impact on this planet. To support my claim to be “ethical”, I will decline certain briefs.

Clients previously worked on: 360º Communications • Action for Kids • Air Miles • American Express • ATS • Avis • Bell South Communications • Bhs • BP • British Airways • bmi • BT • BusinessWeek • c2c • Cable & Wireless Communications • Citroën UK • COI • Commercial Union • Compaq • East Midlands Electricity • The Economist Intelligence Unit • Eddie Bauer • Goldfish • Howard Smith Papers • HP • HSBC • Illinois Power • Inmarsat • KLM Royal Dutch Airlines • Lotus • Madame Tussaud’s • Marbles • Mind • Nando’s • Nescafé • Northwest Airlines • 02 • Orange • Oyster • Quaker • Quay Arts • Renault • Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew • Silverlink • South African Breweries • Sprint • T-Mobile • Tesco • US Bank • Visa USA Ltd • Wilson Connolly & more

Agencies worked with: Black Cat, CMB, DP&A, Dunnhumby Cinnamon, Harrison Troughton Wunderman, Maverick, OgilvyOne, Publicis, Publicis Dialog, TWCat

But am I any good?

When I left CMG in Putney to go freelance, the worldwide Creative Director flew me to the US to work for him. After 18 months in Minneapolis, I returned to London, where advertising giant Publicis Groupe hired me, made me redundant, re-hired me, made me redundant again, then invited me back a third time. Instead, I spent a year writing TV and film scripts – which I loved – on the back of a play broadcast by BBC Radio 4. My next freelance job quickly went from two days a week to a full-time Group Head offer. I’ve been acting and de facto Creative Director numerous times. But management is not where I want to be.

Just give me the words.

Try me out on a small project or let me loose on a pan-global campaign – I’m happy either way. I can also call on a network of exceptional art directors, designers, and marketing minds in the UK, US, South Africa and Australia, if necessary.

Use the form below to tell me what I can do for you and let’s get to work.
